Our Niccolai Elio Nursery is situated in the heart of the Pistoia area in Tuscany. Here the fertility of the soil and the temperate climate provide ideal conditions for growing hardy nursery stock. On 25 hectares of open ground and container production Niccolai grow over 300 plant species in more than 540 cultivars. They supply many of the big-name nurseries nearby, so when you buy from Niccolai you are certainly buying “direct from the grower” – and at a competitive price! In addition, they can also put at your disposal quite a network of fellow growers in the area with whom they have built up a strong working relationship over many years.
It used to be the case that bringing in Italian Specimen plants to the UK meant buying a complete lorry load. No longer the case. We organise frequent “just in time” deliveries from Pistoa of part loads throughout the season. And we will quote delivery-inclusive prices into the bargain. Minimum values are surprisingly low!
